I danced on that marble floor,
and never did I know
that the music had started.
I was blinded through my eyes,
and I followed the tender steps of a stranger.
Never before had I danced,
never before did I think I would.
Yet there we were,
strangers of the soul,
strangers of the heart,
and lovers of the music.
Silence continued its wondrous song
as only sinful footsteps could be heard,
only footsteps that broke a beauty,
and we danced with tears.
I danced silently on that marble floor,
and never did I know
that the music had already started.
